I’m a simple person, my idea of a perfect day starts with one of my favorite coffee blends and it usually ends with a breathtaking sunset and a glass of wine. I was about ready to head back to the boat and relax on deck after laying under the waterfall for a bit. Today was already perfect for me but the others wanted to go to the hot springs.
It’s kind of funny that I love the idea of a hot tub but in reality I am hypersensitive to heat so I actually do not enjoy hot tubs. When we got to the springs I was happy to sit and watch the others but after a lot of coercion, I eventually got in up to my knees. The water was supper hot! I felt as though my skin was going to melt right off my bones and I immediately got out. That was definitely not my idea of fun and I was happy to move along to the mud bath.
We slathered mud all over each other then had fun clowning around and taking photos. Eventually we began our descent to the bay. Going down was of course way better than the climb had been. It was easier going down and we could also see the beautiful bay below. I felt totally relaxed after my shower when we got back to the boat. I was surprised at how satiny smooth my skin was from the all over mud pack I had earlier.
Later I relaxed and watched the sun slip below the horizon in a beautiful blaze of color. All was right in my world; it was the end of another perfect day.
