After we had eaten, I snuggled contentedly in Mark’s lap and sipped my wine. At that moment there was nowhere else I’d rather be. Curled up here in this warm embrace, listening to the waves and watching the sky turn dark as the last of the sunset faded was blissful. “Hey you’re sleeping, let\u2019s go in” Mark’s voice in my ear startled me, I must have dozed off for a bit! “Oops! sorry I didn’t mean to, let me clear this stuff away” I said. “Leave it, I’ll do it later” Mark said and in one fluid movement, he picked me up and headed inside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I felt ridiculous! “put me down!” I said giggling. Mark just kept walking to the bedroom and when he finally put me down he said “I’m going to shower, join me?” I took the hand he held out and allowed him to lead the way into the spacious bathroom. We stood together under the shower running soapy hands over each other\u2019s bodies. After a while, Mark backed me up against the wall and kissed me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
