I sat on the deck and sipped my coffee as we left Bequia behind. It was a lovely day to be alive and I felt nothing but happy and grateful as I took in the breathtaking scenery. We were heading to Tobago Cays but we were not in a hurry, it was about the journey, not the destination.
We baited the long line hoping to catch something tasty for lunch but the only thing we caught was a baby shark which we released. Eddie decided to drop anchor at Mustique and we went snorkeling. The coral reef was truly breathtaking! there were varieties of colorful fish and sea anemones that I had never seen anywhere else before.
That evening the sunset was magical, the Catamaran anchored nearby made a perfect backdrop for the photo I took. Chef Claudia served up a lovely dinner which was perfectly paired with a delicious wine, we could not have asked for anything more! After dinner we put the bottom lights on and watched the fish feast on the leftovers we threw out.
Later when everyone had retired for the night, I lay on the trampoline and gazed at the moon playing hide and seek in the starry sky above. I could hear Led Zeppelin’s Thank You playing in the saloon. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.
