We finally arrived at our hotel and after unpacking our toiletries and what we planned to wear to dinner we collapsed into the luxurious king size bed. It was my third trip to the island and I was eagerly looking forward to showing Henri around the next day. Henri fell asleep almost instantly and I idly channel surfed with the television on mute.
In my mind I contemplated the series of events that led up to my present circumstances and I counted my blessings. I sometimes reflect upon something I once read …….. a reminder that its human nature to always complain whenever things are not in our favor but how often do we actually express our happiness when things are in our favor? I have since made it a habit to say out aloud ‘I am happy’ whenever everything is right in my world and I am experiencing a happy moment so I quietly whispered “I am happy!”.
I had made dinner reservations at what had become my favorite restaurant whenever I’m in Barbados. Henri wanted to sample everything on the menu so he ordered everything! The waitress fell in love with his accent and I swear she was about to swoon when he ordered one of the pricier wines. We had pleasant conversation throughout dinner and despite our cultural differences, It felt as though we had known each other for a long time.
The food was absolutely amazing! and we both ate more then we should have. When the waitress returned to offer us the dessert menu I declined but Henri insisted I should at least have some ice cream. Needless to say, he ordered 2 other desserts both of which I had tried on previous occasions and enjoyed! Can you blame me for accepting every spoonful of delicious cheesecake topped with passion fruit compote he fed me? Believe me when I say I love to eat and Henri obviously shared that love!
When dinner was finally over, we walkout outside to wait for our taxi. It was a very romantic setting, the moon was a beautiful sphere in the sky and there was soft grass underfoot, a fountain trickling nearby and crickets chirping were the only sounds. I had a momentary feeling of déjà vu, had I experienced this same moment in some other life? then it dawned on me, this is very similar to the dream I had the night we met!
When we returned to our room Henri undressed me and and this time it was different, gone was the hungry impatience. He took his time kissing and caressing every inch of my body focusing all of his attention on the source of my pleasure. His tongue loving caressed my pleasure points, he knew exactly how to pleasure a woman and I felt pampered and spoilt in every way! when I finally climaxed he quickly turned me over and position me on my knees at the very edge of the bed. My upper body was flat on the bed giving him perfect rare access. When he entered me I felt pleasurably stretched to capacity and extremely sensitive to the shape and size of him, my body shuddered uncontrollably and I knew that there was another incredibly sweet orgasm on its way!
That night set a wonderful trend for the next two days we spent together. We talked for hours, explored the island and had fun swimming in the sea. We ate too much and drank too much wine, we laughed and played silly games and we made love again and again. After our idyllic weekend together we were both a little sad in the airport on Monday; Henri was leaving for London and I was going home. We kissed goodbye and parted company that day and although we kept in touch for years afterward we never saw each other again. I still remember that magical weekend and I am happy that I threw caution to the wind and followed my intuition. I was blessed to have met Henri and our time together would always be one of the best weekends I’ve ever had!
