Tales from the Qrypt – Mark Prt 4

After we had eaten, I snuggled contentedly in Mark’s lap and sipped my wine. At that moment there was nowhere else I’d rather be. Curled up here in this warm embrace, listening to the waves and watching the sky turn dark as the last of the sunset faded was blissful. “Hey you’re sleeping, let’s go in” Mark’s voice in my ear startled me, I must have dozed off for a bit! “Oops! sorry I didn’t mean to, let me clear this stuff away” I said. “Leave it, I’ll do it later” Mark said and in one fluid movement, he picked me up and headed inside.

I felt ridiculous! “put me down!” I said giggling. Mark just kept walking to the bedroom and when he finally put me down he said “I’m going to shower, join me?” I took the hand he held out and allowed him to lead the way into the spacious bathroom. We stood together under the shower running soapy hands over each other’s bodies. After a while, Mark backed me up against the wall and kissed me.

Looking for Love?

I have been asked on several occasions how I seem to find the perfect relationships. Well first let me state clearly that no relationship is perfect! remember, we are all human and we all have faults, quirks, peeves or whatever you prefer to call it. The thing to do is learn how to accept and love someone despite that little thing you don’t like about them. THAT my friends is how to have a near-perfect relationship! If you never learn how to do that then you will forever be looking for Mr. or Mrs. Right.

How will you know its the right person? well …….. do they enjoy the same things that you do? Do they really listen to you? do they support your endeavors? do they go out of their way to do the things you like (in and out of bed?) laugh at your stupid jokes? ignore your bad habits or help you improve? make you soup or take care of you when you’re sick? if you answered yes to most of those questions then you are probably with the right person. Ensure you reciprocate in all of the mentioned areas and you will have a great relationship.

Tales from the Qrypt – Mark Prt 3

The following day Mark showed up right on time to take me shopping as promised. He seemed pretty excited and some of his excitement rubbed off on me, suddenly I was looking forward to a shopping expedition. Shopping just for the hell of it was not something I usually did. We spent the rest of the morning picking out pieces and arguing over what suited me best. Mark charmed all of the women in the boutiques we shopped at, I think he enjoyed the shopping more than I did! Afterward, we had a leisurely late lunch at his friend’s restaurant and talked way into the evening.

It became routine for us to have coffee or lunch during the daytime and then go out for drinks and dinner in the evenings. I enjoyed Mark’s company, he was funny and he sang whenever he was happy which I found truly adorable! I was making plans to leave the island and when I finally told Mark one evening during dinner, he immediately had this insane idea that we should rent a cottage on the beach for the next few days. He wanted us to spend the rest of my time on the island together; we would do nothing but sleep in, go to the beach, eat out, and enjoy each other’s company. I was instantly on board!
